Sometimes I parody a pro-Trump perspective here to comport with TG’s characterizations of Trump supporters. Other times I parody TDS perspectives, to comport with actual TDS patients who actually exist here and everywhere else.

Trump foundered in the early days after taking office last time. What will it be like this time, in terms of efficiency? I think Trump was ignorant, profoundly so, of the wheels and bureaucracy of Washington. He thought that he could rely on well-entrenched government employees to do what he thought was the right thing. Was it Truman who commented on how impotent the office of President really is? ("He thought") Scarf-lady Birx proved him wrong, and she documented that in her memoir. "We did whatever we wanted, not what POTUS wanted."

He didn't have the best of lives after the war. Sure, he made over 30 movies, but he was not good with his money and suffered a lot from what they called "battle fatigue" in those days. He was very public about his mental problems, advocating for better treatment for soldiers and was successful in getting additional programs for the VA. He slept with a loaded M1911 .45 under his pillow, until he died.

For a wonderful moment I thought Weiner was a possible Biden replacement. I would pay good money to see him and Trump go head-to-head (no pun intended) in a debate on sexual impropriety.

Just another thought. It has been a couple of years since I have been in India, but at that time, I thought it was the country with the greatest distance between the rich and the poor. The rich were super super rich and the poor were super super poor. I don't think that has changed at all.
